Comprehensive Coverage
The ACT is a college admissions exam used by nearly all colleges and universities to make admissions decisions with the goal of quantifying a high school student's readiness for college. The exam provides colleges with one conventional data point that can be utilized to evaluate all applicants.

The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is administered by ERB several times a year and accepted by thousands of schools across the globe. It is a flexible entrance exam that can be administered online, paper-based, or at home. The ISEE measures critical thinking and readiness for students in grades 2 through 12 who are applying to elite private elementary, middle, and high schools.
The CogAT assesses the reasoning and problem solving abilities of students. It is often used to identify gifted and talented students, to guide instructional decisions, and to help educators understand students' cognitive strengths and weaknesses. The CogAT provides various levels of the exam depending on the student's grade.
The GRE is a standardized test used by many graduate schools and business programs as part of their admissions process. It is designed to provide schools with a common measure for comparing the qualifications of applicants from diverse educational backgrounds while helping admissions committees gauge an applicant's preparedness for the rigors of graduate study.

The ACT/SAT test may very well be one of the most significant tests your 11th or 12th grader will ever take and remains a significant factor in the college admissions process. Opting for "test-optional" admissions doesn't prohibit the value of submitting ACT/SAT scores.
